Skill set
I have a strong technical grounding in HTML/XHTML and I am capable of writing valid code to a given doctype, if required. I can also build sites to pass the bobby test and meet the WAI guidelines.
I can work in either text-based editors or wysiwyg tools such as Dreamweaver, although my current preference is the former.
I have considerable experience of Dreamweaver/Ultradev 4, MS Office, Fireworks 4, Photoshop 5.5, Windows 95 - 2000, with basic experience also gained in SQL Server 2000 & IIS5.

Self-employed as part of a business partnership. Responsibilities included design and specification of websites, book-keeping, preparing proposals & presentations and customer management.
My technical duties comprised of database design, ASP server-side scripting, browser testing and site deployment.

Employed as a production operative. Responsibilities included:
- Ensuring that the correct amount of material was used with the minimum of wastage.
- Creating programs for CNC guillotine.
- Assembly and dispatching of orders.
March 00 - April 00

Working as part of the design team, my role was to assist in the implementation of a new Bill of Materials system. The work involved:
- Liasing with the production and design engineers.
- Transfer of existing work on the new system.
- Ensuring accurate transfer of standard drawings and inventories.

Mountain biking
I have been a competitive cyclist for many years racing regularly in Regional and National events. I consider myself a skilled bicycle mechanic with a strong interest in suspension set-up and frame design.
